Suicide Awareness

In 2015 we began our mission to raise awareness of Suicide in youth and young adults. Every December we pass out hundreds of cupcakes to local businesses along with information and messages of hope. We include a flyer listing the youth our community has lost to suicide.

The mission was the heartfelt journey of Kelly who lost her son to Cancer in October 2011, then lost his girlfriend to suicide in December 2011.

Kelly began this mission in December 2012, and we adopted it in our missions in 2015.

The memory of that loss and the pressures that are currently facing our youth in these trying times has only increased the desire to get the message out in the spotlight.

We have continued to expand the mission to reach out to all ages and groups. From youth to shut-in to Veterans, the message is clear. Give hope and understanding.
